Wow. I’m sure you’ve all seen this girl’s fantastic tardis dress floating around here the last week or so. She hand painted the inside and everything, and she just looks plain great. But of course, I see it posted on facebook, and the slew of comments begin.
I don’t think it’s a mystery as to why I, as a bigger girl, spend the week before a convention crying because I’m so nervous about what people are going to say about me just because I want to dress up and have fun like everyone else. And there is something really, really fucking wrong with that.
This girl is as beautiful as she is clever! If we on Tumblr are only good for one thing, it’s turning situations like this around! Let’s signal boost this and get it back to her so she knows how much we love it! ALLONZ-Y

Women’s bodies are always up for scrutiny. This is particularly true if we fall outside the norm of what popular culture deems attractive. This girl put herself out there with some amazing cosplay and she looks fucking great. As you can see by these comments, that was an act of bravery on her part. Good for her. Let’s not let these fucking cocknuggets discourage us from taking pride in our bodies and the way we choose to adorn them.
This dress is amazing. Anyone that says anything other is an arse.

I noticed this at my work and I said something to my store manager. Then I also contacted corporate and told them that they are being a bad influence on society, and people with eating disorders. It’s really annoying.

My little sister means the world to me. She forces me to sit down whilst she paints my nails with her favorite colors, pink and purple. She asks me to sit outside and have a picnic with her. She watches me reblog on here and talk to my girlfriend most days, she asked me today to post a gif of us both so I did. She’s possibly the most bossy, annoying, noisy little sister you could have, but she’s amazing, in so many ways and beautiful, she’s almost 4 years old now, and is fighting leukemia. She’s becoming weak, so weak she is unable to go outside and have a picnic, or even paint nails. She’s still smiling though and laughing, like any other 3 year old. She’s going into hospital next week for treatment, if you could all pray for her, it would mean a lot to me, her and my family. She’s the best little sister you could really ask for.
Cancer is a terrible, ugly monster.
Fight hard, beautiful one. We will all be praying for you.
